We started the week by looking at a great Powerpoint, which can be found here. This helped us to understand more about autism and the ways we can help our friends with autism. We watched a short video about a child named Nasaiah, who has autism - it can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xU2MegkqIxQ
We talked about how the 5 senses have a big impact on how a person with autism behaves. On Tuesday we had 4 'Sensation Stations' set up in our classroom, where we explored how we all sense the world differently. Some of us liked the sounds, smell and touch at some of the stations, while others hated them!
