During Maths Week we engaged with Maths in a fun way every day. We played fun games, like High Low, as well as taking a more playful approach to our normal Maths lessons.
This week we've been doing some work on the number line - building up from a single number and adding numbers in their correct place, before and after what is there to begin with.
We've also been doing lots of counting, forwards and backwards - ask your child about when Aoife is the conductor of a choir.
We read this story because we have been talking about caring about one another. The villagers did lots of caring things for the tiger child.
We read this book the first day Aoife had a chance to get to know our class. We really enjoyed the story and loved when the police car came!
