Hello Senior Infants! I hope you have been enjoying the beautiful sunshine at the weekend and enjoying the bank holiday with your families. Here is my video for this week, just saying hello and showing you the sunflowers growing taller! Please try to log in to Seesaw this week and try out the activities I have assigned there too, just little number games, but you can see how easy it is to use the website. Please try to submit your work this week by Seesaw, and I will try to reply to everyone on Seesaw too. Have a great week of learning everyone!

Hi everyone, I would like to share with you some of the amazing work that has been sent in. All of this work is home learning and I love how everyone does things in their own way, using the things that they have a home. I haven't made a video slideshow this week as I am still experiencing difficulty with uploading long or high quality videos to the website. Anamaria, Cecilia, Joaquin and Ahmed have made beautiful, colourful drawings of the life cycle of a frog. Saibh has some frogspawn of her own in her garden! I was very happy to hear that all of you enjoyed the frogspawn video. Animals can sometimes live and grow and change like this without us ever seeing them. It is so amazing to be watching the tadpoles getting bigger and changing shape. Here are some pictures of their new fish tank. I will have a video for you to see their progress next week! Adya, Hareen and Emma have been working on their tricky words! I was very impressed to see you all writing your capital letters so well this week. Hareen, Adya and Kristiana sent me some of their excellent written work! Well done! Here are some more photos I received this week! I am very proud of all of you! We are having trouble uploading videos to the school website at the moment. Here is the link to Sarah C's weekly check in on youtube. https://youtu.be/zgdByg1XIOE
A little message for everyone from Dorothy our ANA, who is missing you all very much! The children really enjoyed planting Sunflower seeds. Sarah C has brought them home and is looking after them. There is lots we can learn about plants and how they grow. Lessons based on this will be provided in weeks to come.
Some wonderfully creative collage work, our first Visual Art lesson in our new school building! Check out this slide show of all the fabulous visual artwork that Senior Infants created last term! |
